I found it inappropriate that I was asked three times if we were of Hispanic origin. There are other nationalities that also have dark hair and tan complexions. Give me a break. What does it matter? We are triple covered for insurance and no one is worried about being deported any time soon. What I was worried about was my child being seen by competent and caring staff which did not happen in a timely or efficient manner. Next time we will just drive to Salem or Portland to be seen.
Had I known this, I would've driven into Portland. Do not come here unless you're bored and have absolutely nothing to do for 12 hours.
This has got to be the smallest and the absolute slowest ER in the whole entire country. I've been here for 2 hours, we barely got into a room, and there has been no sign of life since. I hear random children crying, and people walking by. But not a single person has stepped in to say the doctor will be in or hi I'm you're nurse. This is absolutely mind blowing.
Recently visited ER here, and was pleased overall. We got in right away (maybe just lucky, because they were swamped by the time we left), and Dr. Rose was amazing at getting my wife's badly dislocated fingers put back in place and supporting us through the process. Support staff was good overall, though the woman who repeatedly picked my wife up for X-rays kept telling me "you have to ask your nurse" in response to my asking if I could get my wife some water. Problem is, I didn't know who "my nurse" was, and they were all chatting away (socializing with one another). Instead of her finding out for me, I had to interrupt, ask who our nurse was, and get the question answered myself. Also, they couldn't fill our prescription (apparently no pharmacy in the hospital), and we soon found out that at 7:30PM on a Sunday, there are only 3 places in the entire state that are open, the closest being Portland. I feel the hospital could (should) have known this, and sent us home with enough to get through to morning.
Worst experience of my life, and I haven't even seen a medical professional yet.
So sweet so kind. I may have pneumonia and their prompt service makes me feel so safe. Grateful for all these people here.
Thanks the Drs and the nurse for being nice and makeing and helping my wife. Seem keep everything clean their nice very polite
